As of Late

get-attachment-6.aspxget-attachment-7.aspx
Well its already well into November and here I am posting pictures of my Halloween costume. Well better late than never right? I was a cat for Halloween and I decided to try to make ears out of my hair, not the most easy thing to do but I really liked how they turned out, and I think that if I did them again I think I would spread them apart more.

Over the weekend I ended up going to the DC big flea and found the most amazing 20s hat of my dreams. It was a hundred bucks so I didn't get it but I did snap a few pics of it for memory. I also got the sellers card so if one day and suddenly have a hundred extra bucks lying around, I can get it (if she still has it).

Last but not least the best part of my week! Yesterday my boyfriend and I went to Richmond, Va to see Sufjan Stevens and boy was it amazing! If only you know all the crazy events that led up to me going to this show, I didn't think I was going to be able to go but thankfully I did. Might I also add that Mr. Stevens is quite the fox.

Tuesday

Outfit Details: (what you can see)
Jacket and bag: Estate sale
Skirt: Pollysues
Tights: Hue
Shoes: Thrift

On Tuesday My boyfriend and I decided to go to the National Harbor. Its not a very exciting place so we didn't end up staying long but I did go to a peeps store (didn't know they existed). We just went in to see what it was all about, and they had a huge three foot stuffed peep for about 400 bucks . Im not sure who would actually by that but you never know! They also had a Cakelove so we decided to see if that had any vegan options and they did but they where the worst cupcakes I have ever had, however the icing wasn't so bad! I'm sure there regular kind are better! After that we went to lunch in Arlington and hit up a vintage shop that was close by that I had never been too. It had some great stuff and I came home with 3 great dresses so all in all it was a good day!

Pumpkin Pickin'

Well due to a crazy work schedule I waited until the last minute to pick pumpkins. I really wanted to go to pick them out of a pumpkin patch but they are only open on Saturdays, and Sundays, and well I work both days so I was stuck with one of those side-of-the-road deals. My boyfriend and I both found pumpkins and carved them that night now I fell ready for Halloween! Tonight and tomorrow I'm going to a party so I cant wait to get all dressed up! I hope everyone is have a great Fall/Halloween season. Stay tuned for pictures of my Halloween costume, the best part is I get to dress up at work!!

Back In Town

Welp Im back, I thought I'd post a few pics of the trip. The first photo is of my boyfriend and I right after the wedding, I wish I took a picture of my little 30's dress without a cardigan on but I'm glad I at least got this picture! It was a busy busy day and week! I went all nerdy couple and matched my tights to his tie, he also had mustard socks on too, haha!

On the way to New York we decided to stop and Vegan Treats a vegan Bakery in Bethlehem, Pa. It was so good we went on the way back too! This place beats any other vegan restaurant I have every been too.....seriously. The best thing they had was there doughnuts, and the soft serve. The first time we were there it was peanut butter soft serve, then on the way back it was maple. They said they had pumpkin but I didn't get lucky enough to go on the day they had it. We also got brownie cheesecake, cookies, and more brownies. I still have a little piece of brownie left that I'm saving for later tonight!

Going Away

Well I'm off to upstate New York tomorrow for a family wedding, so I thought I'd do a mini post on my packing and what not. When I was younger I would pack weeks in advance for trips planing out every single outfit I was gonna wear. Now I'm not as crazy but I did plan my outfits a little bit just so I didn't over pack, and isn't dressing so much more fun while your on vacation? I think so. Heres a little picture of an outfit I came up with while packing, I'm hoping to take lots of outfit pictures while I am there so expect some soon!

Im sure I will end wearing this while I'm there, I really love the color combination!

Dress Up

Today I pretty much worked all day so after work I came home and played dress up. Im going to a wedding in a week so I was playing with the lip liner I bought yesterday, if you are wondering its Cherry by M.A.C. Cosmetics.  I decided to take some pictures and do a little post, I'm trying to post regularly so even if its small its still a post! Also I would love any ladies opinions on wearing bright red lipstick, with a brown dress with white polka dots, and mustard tights. Are mustard tights and red lips a weird combo??

Rainy Wednesday

Rainy Wednesday
Bubble Umbrella: Grandma's
40s Nylon Blouse: Exile
Pants: Trade Shop
Bag: Antique Shop
Shoes: Ebay

Today I was off work so I didn't do a whole lot, cooked a little, watched "Dunstin Checks In", and picked up my dry cleaning. While I was in Richmond yesterday I found these pants at some trade shop and decided not to get them because they had a huge hole in an odd spot. While I was at a coffee shop across the street I instantly regretted it so I went straight back and got them. They are definitely the weirdest pants I own. 60s high waisted capris in a blue/green paisley, haha they are so horribly amazing.

Ohh!! and my new doctors bag!! I saw this at an antique shop over 4 months ago and didn't get it? I regretted it every day since then, so I went back to the shop a few days ago and it was still there?!?!

So I went back to Richmond, Va. Which was a bad idea...there are to many great vegan restaurants and awesome vintage shops . I also wanted to go back to the Hollywood Cemetery because its so huge, I think this time I saw maybe 1/4 of it, it really is so so huge and so beautiful which is weird to say about a cemetery. All in all it was a good day out, well not for my bank account =(

Moved! Was Annabelle Rose

I've decided to start a new blog, for the third time...I didn't feel like the name of my last blog (Annabelle Rose) was something  that worked for me so I thought long and hard, and well a lot of the blog titles I wanted where taken (by people not even using them I might add!) So this is a combination on what I wanted. It was either The Clever Fox, or The Little Foxes (both taken). So I got "The Clever Little Foxes" I like it a whole lot more than my last name and now I am actually really excited and inspired to write on this and get something going! So expect  to see lots a post from me now!

Repost: August 25th

This post is kinda late but I couldn't find my camera cord until today so better late than never! My twentieth birthday was over the weekend so on saturday my boyfriend and I headed to Richmond, Virginia, somewhere I had never been before, I only live two hours away but I just never got around to going there until now and I must say I love it! Its the best place to go if you live vegan food and vintage clothing and of course anything historic. The city had a really beautiful cemetery that I didn't even get to see a forth of (its huggggeee) You need to drive through it because it would take hours to walk around. I went to the most beautiful vintage stores I have ever seen (seriously) its called Bygones, if you are even in the area go there! It was so well decorated and organized and had the most amazing collection of clothing all in perfect condition! I ended up getting a 1930s black rayon dress that fit me perfectly and I cant wait to wear it in winter time.
